Read for Goats!

Nice job Findley students! We’ve totaled more than 5000 hours of reading!

For every 1500 hours, Findley PTO will purchase a pair of goats through Mercy Corps to assist a family living in a rural area. Your reading can help change lives!

Turn in your hours by this Friday 1/19!

Thanks!

New Socks & Underwear donations – Collecting for Beaverton Clothes Closet!

Happy Monday Findley Families,

All this week, Findley is collecting donations of new socks and underwear to benefit the Beaverton Clothes Closet.

The collection bin is located in the front hall of the school by the display case.

The Clothes Closet is operated by volunteers from the School District’s parent groups and Beaverton community to provide free clothing for students in grades K-12 from families with limited income.

Sincerely,

Findley PTO

Winter Parties – No Siblings & Volunteers must have a completed background check!

Dear Findley Families,

Next week is going to be a exciting week for the students with the all the winter party celebrations!

We appreciate everyone that takes time out of their busy schedule to volunteer in their child(ren)’s classroom. We need to make sure that volunteers are following Beaverton School District’s sibling & volunteer policies:

  • NO Siblings are allowed in the school or school classrooms (including hallways)
  • Every volunteer must have a cleared background check through the Beaverton School District in order to be in the classroom/school.
  • Volunteers must wear a Photo ID badge (A badge can be made onsite in the office).
  • Visitor stickers are no longer permitted.

The front office staff does not want to have to turn anyone away but volunteers that do not follow these policies will NOT be allowed in the classrooms – No Exceptions!

Thank for your corporation and we appreciate all that you do for Findley!

Sincerely,
Findley PTO
