Findley volunteers are needed to help at the Beaverton Clothes Closet on Wednesday, November 12th between 9:30am and 4:15pm. Can you help? Please sign up.

The Beaverton Clothes Closet is a service organization that provides used clothing for BSD students in need (grades K-12). Last year alone the Clothes Closet was able to serve 1,848 students, and over 27,000 items were donated.

Each school in the Beaverton School District serves one day a year to help our local community at the Beaverton Clothes Closet. Findley Elementary is scheduled to help on Wednesday, November 12th from 9:30am-4:15pm. Volunteers are the mainstay of operation for the Clothes Closet; it cannot operate without them.

Do you want to help give back to those who need it most? Please consider volunteering for the Beaverton Clothes Closet for a 1-2 hr shift (or more if you are able). It is a rewarding experience and a wonderful benefit for our local community. Sign up to volunteer.

The Clothes Closet also accepts donations of gently used school-type clothing such as: jeans, shoes, t-shirts, sweatshirts, warm coats, new socks and underwear (sizes 4 to young adult sizes for teens).

Since these items are for young students, the Closet doesn’t accept adult (large size) donations. They have small drop boxes in front of the portables to accept donations.

The Beaverton Clothes Closet is located in the Portables on the west side of the Beaverton School District Administration Center at 16550 SW Merlo Road, Beaverton.

Please contact Findley’s Clothes Closet Coordinator, Andrea Moses, at with any questions you might have about this special service opportunity.

Thank you!
