Info About Beaverton School Board Election, May 19, 2015

Dear Parents,

Knowing that new school budget cuts and rapid residential development are likely to strain our schools in the near future – it seems more important than ever that Beaverton School Board members are ready to thoughtfully lead the district. There is a Candidate Forum on April 14th, Tuesday, and it seems prudent that we should all be aware of this and learn more about the elections and the candidates. Candidates run in one of seven zones, and they must live in that zone. But, voters in the district elect them “at-large.” All voters in the Beaverton School District get to vote in all races.
