2017-2018 Budget Planning is Underway! Next week, there will be two opportunities to review the proposed budget in a line-by-line discussion, listen, ask questions, and provide input. We hope you’ll join us at one of two sessions:

Tuesday, April 25, 8:45am at Evergreen Fire Station 68
Wednesday, April 26, 7pm at Findley Café
(Wa County Sheriff Internet Safety presentation preceding at 6pm)

Input provided will be considered, and a final proposed budget will be presented for a vote at the May PTO meeting, Wednesday, May 17, 7pm (budget vote and officer elections).

Each spring, Findley PTO works with school staff to consider activities and projects for the upcoming school year. Once these projects are identified and student enrollment is projected, our budget begins to take shape.

Findley PTO funds academic programs, such as Art Literacy, Passport Club, Science Fair, and Author visits/workshops. We also provide support in the form of classroom subscriptions and supplies, field trip transportation, and emergency kits. PTO helps students celebrate by funding classroom parties, appreciate culture by offering assemblies, extend care to others through charitable giving projects, as well as promotes the joy of personal goal-setting and exercise through Findley Flyers.

Throughout the year, Findley PTO enriches the experience of our students. This is made possible through careful planning, budgeting, and by your generous donations during our single fall fundraiser: Dragon Dash.
